Google has revealed "New! Gmail Tips" at the top right corner of everyone's gmail account page. Revealed in this 4-level run-down of Google's Gmail features are several time-saving and organizational improvements one can implement to increase the functionality of the email inbox.
The 4 levels are based off of a Ninja scale; the simplest tips being listed under the white-belt tab, and the most advanced being listed under the Gmail Master tab. I have been using Gmail for years now and appreciate the dialed down, simplistic approach that Google has maintained. Recently, I have begun to make use of more advanced filters and labels which help me sort through and manage my email inbox much more efficiently.
Running through each of the tabs will not only help you learn some new tricks to help manage spam, label emails, filter messages, etc, but will explain some of the other inner workings and additional features the ominous Gmail has to offer. Check it out, I greatly enjoyed the read!
